Just before my socials went quiet for today, big news went live. I am sad, and angry, and going to be offline, and going to be out in the world being my glorious self, regardless.
I put on a hoodie a couple of days ago and practically swam in it. I didn’t start swimming to lose weight, but it seems that’s been a side benefit. I’ll never be thin, and that’s ok. I can feel comfortable though, and I was getting too big for that.
Watched bits of Lovejoy yesterday. 1980s antiques swindling cad, sexy Ian McShane, acknowledges that it’s a farce and a bit of a laugh. Classic British fun.
Good morning. It is 2026-06-30, and it’s a Tuesday.
Gus gets to sleep in the room now. I switched to the other side of the bed, and am happy to report that it’s pleasant to wake up with his little body climbing me, and the window open.
Piss test for work today. These theatrics we do for respectability. (I’m straight edge now days). Going to drink coffee and get pie at bipartisan after.
New phone on the way. Just in time since apple prices are going WAY up.
Wrote a poem in the notebook, and I think I’m going to do that all week without sharing. Sometimes you have to keep the process quiet so you can be a little braver.

Good morning. It is 2026-06-29, and it’s a Monday.
Early morning swim. Then coffee and a book. Then laundry and a movie. The good quiet life again.

So I applied to 137 jobs since January. And I had an interview with 3 of them: a group home, a sex club, and a switchboard operator. Tells you what jobs are acceptable for the transexual, and how fucked up the job market is right now.
So it turns out the music my friend’s mom Marlene was listening to when I was a kid was Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, played on a continuous loop of anger and despair.
Current tech plan:
- new phone within the next 3 months. An iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator.
- Clear out the MacBook of cruft. Use it as the general work and labor computer.
- Keep the blackbook a simple writing machine.
- Use iPad as daily consumption computer. All videos and reading and fucking around on there.
Keep it simple. Keep things separated.
