Cooking a big hearty pot of red beans!!! Serve them with Rice and Kimchi, and you’ve got a hearty cheap lunch!!! (this is a meal prep practice week for making lunches for work)

One thing that took me forever to learn is that “loving your neighbor as you love yourself” is not only a call to community, but to self love. You’ve gotta love yourself if you are going to love other people. This seems like a simple thing, but I grew up a fundamentalist. Weirdly became a better Quaker adjacent person the more selfish I became about my time and energy. Hence, Satanic Quaker. It’s not ONLY a joke.
