Current status, May 15, 2026.
Swam at the pool. I was able to tread water for almost 20 minutes today. Nonstop. That was pretty amazing.
 Yesterday, a dear friend visited from Olympia. When I first came out, I really wanted to be a part of a community. So I started looking for writers. She was one of those writers. We drifted after pandemic slowdowns, and the usual “first year trans friends try to make a community and things kind of get wobbly” stuff. But yesterday we slipped right into the usual conversation. She is a treasure and I love her. It was good to see her.
Spent today working on the phone again. The rather expensive dumb phone launcher I bought started being buggy after a security update, so I decided to replace it with just a bunch of shortcut widgets. Use the default things on the phone to try to make things better. Let’s see how long I can last before I fuck that up.
Gonna go to a bun house tonight and get soup. Gonna watch a bunch of YouTube. Gonna enjoy these quiet moments while they last.
